Black Radiance

Just like most people acne is a problem of mine. To be more specific, black heads. My skin is naturally oily and sensitive so even long after my acne is gone, the marks are still there. Because of this I have started a lot of natural regimens (i will share later) and started using creams that will help clear my face up, but while doing that I also feel the marks I have aren't presentable at all. I am not a everyday foundation type of girl but I also wanted something that could be an everyday coverup for my skin while I was in this face clearing process. One of my best friends recommended "Black Radiance" BB cream. It is basically like a tinted moisturizer that could be used as an everyday look. I describe it to people as a mixture of lotion with a little foudation.  It doesn't feel heavy or cakey on the face. It is an oil free product so it doesn't make your skin feel oily and also prevents sunburn.
I purchased mine from Walgreens for $5.99. For more insight on this product watch this video by Adriana Thomas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7rcQfsUta4 She does an amazing review.
When I first applied BB cream on I was surprised on how well it just blended in with my skin. It felt very light as if i had nothing on. If I were to rate this product in all I would give it a 4.7 out of a 5

Yarn Wraps

YARN WRAPS:
Ive always loved dreads. Thought about actually doing it with my own hair before but its too much of a permanent thing. I love changing my hair a lot so thats another reason why i decided not to. Well at least not right now.

The next best thing to dreads are these yarn wraps so i decided to try it. My best friend spent 10 hours doing it all from beginning to end.

REASONS AND MAIN POINTS:
1.Cheap:I used about 2 big rolls. bought them at Walmart for $6 a roll
2.Protects hair: I have natural hair and the cold makes it dry and brittle so this was a great way to protect my hair.
3. It totally looks like dreads. I got comments everyday on my hair, i even fooled dread heads( not that it was my goal to fool them)
4. The older they got, the more natural they look.
5. Only negative thing: Yarn does suck out the moisture from your hair so you must make sure to moisturize it everyday. I simply spritzed my hair everyday with a mixture of water, coconut oil, and olive oil.
This hair style was inspired by Susy (@africancreature) herself. Check out her tutorial video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GR1I83Vqrk
For any more info on this style go to youtube and search yarn wraps or yarn locs. there is plenty of info out there!
